Vendor Demonstration Agreement

Suppliers who make a property available to the university for assessment, examination or loan must complete a product evaluation letter or product evaluation agreement. Insurance coverage for products offered at the university on an evaluation, test or loan basis is usually provided by the seller. The university may accept the risk in some cases, as approved by risk management. Technology is an important and important part of health care. The most modern equipment is often essential to achieve the highest quality of care. Device manufacturers are often interested in presenting their technologies in a medical environment and may attempt to enter into product location agreements (sometimes referred to as “show site” agreements by suppliers) with hospitals and UW medical clinics. Increasingly, healthcare companies across the country, including UW Medicine, are increasingly relying on pre-site demonstration visits to fully evaluate supplier products in a real clinical environment prior to purchase. UW Medicine carefully reviews the proposals of the demonstration centres to ensure that they clearly support training, training and information exchange between teachers, rather than simply serving as a marketing tool for suppliers. In appropriate circumstances, UW Medicine plans to enter into demonstration location agreements with suppliers that focus on initial and ongoing training in relation to devices/devices. Federal regulators have stepped up reviews of these and other rules and have expressed concerns about the content of some of these agreements. Organizations should exercise caution before entering into such agreements and avoid the emergence of suppliers or supplier products.
